Traditional Cures & Treatments

Dear Friend:
Imagine if a man’s prostate gland, normally the size of a walnut, had swollen until it was as big as a 9½” goose egg. His pain would be unbearable. He wouldn’t be able to sleep through the night. His life would be miserable.
Doctors here in North America would prescribe popular drugs to attempt to shrink his prostate back to normal size. But these drugs often have some nasty side effects. The poor guy could find himself impotent, covered with a rash and with enlarged breasts. And it would take 4 to 6 months to see if the drugs even worked.
But Traditional Chinese Doctors, using a honey-herbal treatment, cured 100% of the men they treated for prostatitis in a clinical study in just 30 days. A year later, 81% of them were still symptom-free. Without any dangerous drugs, whatsoever.
Or think about a woman whose uterus had swollen as large as it would be if she were 3 months’ pregnant. But she’s not pregnant. She has uterine myoma, an all-too-common non-cancerous tumour that causes terrible abdominal pain and heavy menstrual discharge.
7 years of suffering ended!
Irritable Bowel Syndrome Cured by Herbal Porridge |
A 34-year-old woman, who suffered from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) abdominal pain for 7 years, was cured by a traditional Chinese herbal porridge called Shan Yao Che Qian Zi Tang, according to a medical journal article recently translated into English.
After 16 days of the herbal porridge regimen, all her symptoms were gone.
A wider study of this herbal porridge showed it reduced pain and symptoms in IBS patients 51.5% better than Western medicine, with 91.0% of patients getting relief.
39.7% of patients had all their symptoms disappear.
Chinese herbal treatments for IBS have been studied in the West, with positive outcomes.
In a study done in Sydney, Australia, patients treated with a prescription made from 20 traditional Chinese herbs had "significant improvement."
And a clinical trial reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded "…Chinese herbal formulations appear to offer improvement in symptoms for some [IBS] patients." |
|
A Western doctor might prescribe Leuprolide Acetate to shrink the tumours. The drug might cause the symptoms to get a lot worse before they get better, along with hot flashes, depression, weight loss, and headaches, just to mention a few nasty side effects.
But Traditional Chinese Doctors prescribed an herbal tea, taken twice daily, in a study that cured uterine fibroids in as little as 20 days.
Please pardon me for talking about such sensitive illnesses, but if you or a loved one suffer from health conditions, you’ll really want to know about traditional cures like these — as well as other treatments and cures for just about every disease from arthritis to urinary tract infections.
The traditional healers we’re talking about are using ancient principles of Chinese medicine, but with a modern twist. Studies conducted at the Mayo Clinic, the U.S. National Institutes of Health, and universities in Italy, Sweden, Spain, New Jersey, Austria and Michigan show that their tools are highly effective.
Let’s look at just one example:
Doctors at the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey watched in awe recently as a desperately ill 58-year-old man was cured by Qi Gong, an ancient Chinese stretching routine.
The man had suffered multiple injuries in a car accident.
He also had heart problems, chronic asthma, high blood pressure and allergies, requiring eight different prescription medications. His PSA levels indicated prostate cancer could strike at any time. Doctors treating him felt his conditions were incurable. But they tried Qi Gong as a last resort to ease his pain. A typical Qi Gong stretch involves crossing your legs, bending forward and moving your arms slowly in a prescribed pattern. |
When the Qi Gong treatment was finished, the patient threw away all his prescription drugs. He didn’t need them anymore.
He had also lost 35 pounds. His blood pressure was normal at 120/75 — without any medication. His elevated pulse rate, edema, asthma and allergies all disappeared. And, his high PSA level, which had warned of potential prostate problems, was back to normal.
The doctors who wrote up this case study for the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, were quite puzzled by the results.
“This kind of simultaneous recovery from multiple ‘incurable’ conditions… cannot be explained by any known medical theories…” they said.
But, it can be explained by Traditional Chinese Doctors.
Qi Gong is just one of the powerful healing methods Traditional Chinese Medicine uses to help treat ailments that seem impossible to cure — until you put them to the test.
There are dozens and dozens of studies showing that Qi Gong, acupuncture, traditional Chinese herbs, moxa and Chinese vacuum cups can all effectively treat and cure serious illnesses — sometimes even better than Western medicines.
These studies have appeared in Biochem Biophys Res Commun, J Allergy Clin Immunol, Evid Based Complement Alternat Med, Int J Neurosci, Eur J Cardiovasc Prev Rehabil, Med Sci Monit, Neurol Res, Arch Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg, J Clin Oncol, Physiol Behav, Eur J Pain, Health Technol Assess, Fertil Steril, Lancet, Obstet Gynecol — that’s just a partial list, but I had to abbreviate the titles to fit them all in!
For example, an unusual acupuncture method helped women lose 192% more weight than a highly restricted diet, according to a recent clinical study.
The acupuncture needles were connected to an ultra-low-voltage electrical charge during the painless treatment. Patients felt a slight tickling at the acupuncture points.
After the 20-day series of half-hour treatments, patients in the electro-acupuncture group lost an average of 4.8% of their body weight, which means a 300-pound woman could lose 14.4 pounds. If that weight loss rate continued, she could shed 129.6 pounds in just 6 months.
In addition, women in the electro-acupuncture treatment group saw their total cholesterol, LDL and triglyceride levels drop significantly.

100% of patients symptom-free!
Acupuncture Stops All Prostate
Symptoms in 2 Weeks |
A man who had been treated unsuccessfully with Western medicine saw his prostatitis-caused lower back pain and urinary dribbling completely disappear after 2 weeks of acupuncture. Two years later, his symptoms had not come back.
In another study, Traditional Chinese Doctors used a powdered herbal blend, mixed with honey, and formed into pills, to shrink prostate glands swollen to the size of goose eggs back to normal in a panel of 21 men aged 57 to 81.
The men, who had weak urinary flow, as well as frequent urination, took the pills for 30 days, along with a hot sitz bath before bed. 100% of them had free-flowing urination when the treatment was finished.
A year later, 81% of the men were still symptom-free. Those men whose symptoms had returned were symptom-free again after repeat treatment. No side effects were reported, unlike Western drug treatments, which could even cause impotence and make men's breasts grow |

Acupuncture points used included Sanjiao, Shen Men, and Li4, Li11, St25, St36, St44, and Liv3. Refer your doctor to the article in the American Journal of Chinese Medicine, 2005;33(4):525-33.
Or how about this one: Traditional moxa herbal acupuncture treatment lowered cholesterol levels in 78% of patients in just 27 days, according to a recent study.
Alzheimer's cured! A newly-available case history shows that a 68-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease was cured after taking the Chinese Herbal Formula Bu Xin Tang. Before treatment, he suffered from headaches, dizziness, and memory loss so severe he couldn't do simple counting or recognize his family and friends.
The herbs were given to him as a tea. After treatment, his headaches and dizziness disappeared, his memory improved, and he could once again function independently.

Rhinitis Cured! Traditional Chinese Doctors are using vacuum cups to suck allergies right out of their patients, according to a recently translated study published in Sichuan Chinese Medicine.
Sixty percent of the patients were cured of their hives and allergic rhinitis after 1 week of daily, 15-minute treatments. Their symptoms didn't return after 3 months.
Another 31% of the patients in the study, although not cured, had their symptoms either disappear for a short time or decrease significantly. The vacuum cups were applied to the Shen Que acupuncture point. |
| Chronic Allergies Cured! Traditional Chinese vacuum cups, applied to acupuncture points for a few minutes, cured a 41-year-old man's chronic allergies in just 1 treatment — without drugs, according to a recent study. At his 3-month follow-up, the man's symptoms had not returned. |

Moxa acupuncture uses burning herbs — similar to incense — to warm the needles and the skin. The patient experiences a warm, glowing feeling. The moxa herbs are not taken internally.
When moxa was combined with a traditional Chinese herbal prescription in another study, more than half of the ulcerative colitis patients were cured, according to the World Journal of Gastroenterology, December 2000 issue.
Now, if you’re like most folks I know, I can just hear you muttering to yourself: “Acupuncture! I don’t want anyone sticking needles in me. That has to hurt.”
But, acupuncture is painless.
By law, all acupuncture needles must be approved for use by the Food & Drug Administration. They are only put into the top layer of your skin. And, they’re so thin that most people can’t even feel them.
Acupuncture is safe, too. A U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) task force found that problems caused by this treatment are extremely rare.
The NIH also said, “Acupuncture doesn’t have a lot of side effects.”
First-round studies at the NIH show that acupuncture worked just as well as Western medicine for stroke recovery, headache, menstrual cramps, tennis elbow, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, osteoarthritis, low-back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and asthma.
But, without the potentially nasty side effects and dangers that are so common with Western drugs and surgery.
Of course, Traditional Chinese Doctors have used acupuncture to successfully treat — and cure — many more illnesses, ranging from infertility to diabetes.
You don’t have to wait for more Western studies to “prove” acupuncture can treat a wide variety of illnesses. Chinese clinical studies and centuries of experience have already proven that.

But first, I want to tell you about Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal prescriptions that could stop cancer dead in its tracks!
According to a recent study reported in the Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine, 3 liver cancer patients experienced complete remissions after their microwave treatments were supplemented with a Shenqui traditional Chinese herbal treatment.
An additional 24 patients in the study experienced partial remissions, with better liver function, less pain, weakness and jaundice, as well as improved appetite. The results in the Shenqui treatment group were 136.4% better than in the control group, which received only the microwave radiation.
The study concluded that Shenqui herbal treatment could “kill the tumour cells to prevent recurrence.” The herbal therapy has “…no evident adverse reaction.” In other words: no known side effects.
This study was so impressive, it was reported on the NIH web site.
Still another study, reported in the International Journal of Radiation and Oncology, of 188 patients with a nasty type of nose/throat cancer, found that patients treated with traditional Chinese herbs in addition to standard radiotherapy were far less likely to see their cancer return.
And, a database of studies on Qi Gong, an ancient Chinese stretching routine, found that cancer patients doing this exercise had fewer side effects from cancer treatment drugs.
At first it may seem strange that Qi Gong, a series of gentle movements, like a dance in slow motion, is so effective.
Yet, it can dramatically improve health — and potentially heal conditions such as high cholesterol, chronic pain, edema, high blood pressure, prostatitis, asthma and allergies.
But, some of the first Western clinical studies of this ancient combination of movement, meditation, and breathing exercises have been completed — and the results are impressive, indeed.
So impressive that these studies of Qi Gong have been published in mainstream Western medical journals like International Journal of Neuroscience, Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice, American Journal of Chinese Medicine, European Journal of Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation and Medical Science Monitor.
In one Korean clinical trial, Qi Gong lowered blood pressure significantly — as well as cholesterol — in just 8 weeks.
Another Qi Gong study, reported in Int. J Neurosci., suggests that this easy stretching routine helped lower the number of heartbeats per minute and helped the heart respond better and easier to demands such as exercise. In other words, your pulse may not pound when you climb the stairs.
When 43 senior citizens did Qi Gong in another study, their chronic pain eased significantly — and they felt better — in just 4 weeks. |

The bottom line: Clinical studies have shown that Qi Gong could treat and cure a wide variety of diseases — which could even allow people to throw away their dangerous drugs — with all their nasty side effects — forever! Imagine the look on your doctor’s face if he were to say, “I don’t understand it, but you don’t need these pills anymore!”
Qi Gong is just one of the powerful healing methods Traditional Chinese Medicine uses for diseases that seem impossible to cure — until you put them to the test.
The others include acupuncture, acupressure, Tui Na massage, herbal remedies, cupping and food cures. Most North American doctors are not familiar with these Traditional Chinese Medicine healing tools, and they could find them difficult to understand if they were to try to learn about them.
Traditional Chinese Medicine has different diagnostic methods, different terminology, and a different way of viewing the human body and illness than Western medicine does. Even if you’re studying it in English, it’s like using an entirely new language.
That’s why you need a newsletter like the one we publish, Chinese Medicine Healing Miracles, to help you understand how Traditional Chinese Medicine works, what the specialized words mean and what to expect from visits to Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners.
For example, a Western doctor might diagnose 6 different patients with peptic ulcers. All of them would get the same prescription. But to a Traditional Chinese Doctor, there could be 6 different disease patterns, which the doctor would diagnose based on symptoms that seem to have no connection to each other. Since there are 6 different disease patterns, the doctor’s prescription would be unique for each of the 6 patients.
Think about this for a moment: Western medical specialists have great difficulty looking beyond their specialties. But, Traditional Chinese Doctors look at the whole person — including all their symptoms, plus their spirit and state of mind.
So if you went to a Chinese Doctor because you have sore arms and legs and diarrhea, you might have this discussion:
“Are you worrying too much?” the doctor could ask you.
“Yes, how did you know?”
“And are you able to get all your chores and tasks done?”
“Well, no. I can’t seem to get anything accomplished. It’s driving me crazy.”
“You have dampness. We’ll treat it, and your arm and leg soreness could go away, your diarrhea could stop, you could stop worrying all the time and hopefully you’ll be able to complete your tasks more easily.”
Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic categories include Dampness, Wind, Fire and Dryness. But, the difference between Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine is more than just a few words.
The examination a Traditional Chinese Healer gives you is totally different than anything you’ve ever experienced before. A healer could look at the way you move and speak, your complexion and your manner and moods, as well as your symptoms.
But, the two most important examinations in Traditional Chinese Medicine are those of your tongue and your pulse. The healer will often look at the color of your tongue, note whether it’s moist or dry, thin or swollen, and what its coating looks like.
Your pulse could be taken for what seems like a long time in 3 different positions for each wrist. Traditional Chinese Medicine recognizes 30 different pulse types! With just a pulse reading, a Traditional Chinese Doctor could tell whether your illness is serious or not.
When your Western doctor can’t figure out the cause of your illness, Chinese Medicine can often find treatments or cures for dozens of illnesses ranging from arthritis to stroke, colitis to Parkinson’s disease, diabetes to high blood pressure and lupus to osteoporosis. Here are just a few examples:
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: AJapanese medical journal reported the case of a 66-year-old man with COPD that was getting worse despite taking medication.
Western medication for COPD, like Atrovent®, can cause palpitations, nervousness, and nausea — and it can even make the symptoms worse.
Doctors at Japan’s Gifu University Hospital prescribed the patient 10 acupuncture treatments over 2 months, with the needles inserted for 10 minutes during each session.
His shortness of breath improved, and he was able to walk farther after the painless acupuncture treatments.
- Urinary Incontinence: A recent clinical study done at the Oregon Health & Science University showed that weekly acupuncture treatments significantly reduced urinary incontinence in older women.
The needles were inserted at acupuncture points known to affect the bladder. The bladder was never needled, and the treatments were painless.
The study was reported in Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2005 Jul; 106(1): 138-43.
- Asthma: A herbal treatment of asthma is a “…safe and effective alternative…” to prednisone, the Western medicine often used to treat this disease. Prednisone can harm the adrenal glands. The finding was announced in a clinical study published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and distributed by the National Institutes of Health, a federal government agency. Refer your doctor to the September 2005 issue, pages 517-24 for more information.
- Bell’s Palsy: In a clinical trial, patients treated with moxa saw better results than those treated with the Western medicine prednisone. For more information about moxa, see 12 Amazing Secrets of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Master Healers. Read on to find out how to get your FREE copy.
- Chronic Allergies: Traditional Chinese vacuum cups, applied to acupuncture points for a few minutes, cured a 41-year-old man’s allergies in just 1 treatment — without drugs — according to a recent study. At his 3-month follow-up, the man’s symptoms had not returned.
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A 43-year-old woman, plagued with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for years, was cured of all her symptoms by a series of treatments with a Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal formula, according to a newly available English translation of the case study.
Western medical treatments for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are often not very effective.
But, a seldom-used Chinese herbal formula cured the patient, and her symptoms hadn’t returned over a year later.
Before treatment, the patient reported that, after a bout of the flu, she became so weak that she had to stay in bed for weeks at a time. She had a fever, joint pain, headache, dizziness, depression and trouble thinking clearly.
Although she had numerous diagnostic tests done, all the results were coming back normal. But, the Chinese physician noted that her tongue had a white coating, while underneath it was pale. Based on his examination, he concluded the patient had “vacuity taxation,” a very different diagnosis from Western medicine.
The formula he prescribed included precise doses of more than a dozen herbs — all chosen to work together. Most Traditional Chinese herbal formulas are complex mixtures with the ingredients carefully chosen to work together on all aspects of the disease at once.
It only took 10 herbal treatments to make all the patient’s symptoms disappear into thin air. A year later, she was still symptom-free.
So far, I’ve mentioned better-known Traditional Chinese Healing methods such as acupuncture, Qi Gong, herbs, vacuum cups and moxa acupuncture. But, there’s another kind of Traditional Chinese Healing that’s usually overlooked.
Little-known Traditional Chinese food cures literally let you eat your way to health — with tasty fruit, meat, seafood, fish, vegetables, and grains — without ever eating “rabbit food” like the salads the health nut doctors are always pushing at you.
In fact, Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors say that too much salad can actually damage your health!
While there’s no such thing as the “perfect” diet that works for everyone, there are specific foods — and ways to prepare them — that can help you get well, especially when combined with other Traditional Chinese healing methods.
Here are just a few of these amazing Chinese food cures:
- You can actually increase your ability to think clearly by cooking your food differently.
It takes less time, too!
- Excessive bloating, gas and digestive pain can be caused by eating foods that don’t
combine well.
- Simple, two-ingredient soups, made in a crock pot while you sleep, can help to heal edema, gout, liver disease and rheumatism.
- Power nutrients in this delicious, filling, yet low-calorie food could help to make you feel calm and serene, but you must eat this particular variety. Available in most supermarkets — if you know what you’re looking for.
- The amazing Traditional Chinese watermelon cure for high blood pressure.
- The real reason you may crave sweets and starches — and how to turn that craving off instantly with a glass of this herbal tea.
- Just 1 tiny piece of this herb, eaten before a meal, could protect you from traveler’s diarrhea.
- You could reduce cancerous growths with this pungent green.
- Amazing Chinese vegetable has 10 times the calcium in milk and 8 times the iron in beef. Easy to prepare — find it in Asian markets near you.
- Buy this amazing dried vegetable, then store it in glass jars for emergency rations. Keeps for years — and it’s loaded with more vitamins than almost any other food.
- Long, thin, yellow-brown Chinese vegetable could wipe out fungus and candida growths inside your body.
- Smart fruit could cure diarrhea or constipation — depending on how you cook it.
- Alkalizing fruit could counter acid build up in your body caused by heavy meat eating. This one’s a real sweet treat.
- You could stop the ringing in your ears by eating this tree fruit. It may even grow wild near you.
- Impotence could be treated with unripe berries.
- According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the real cause of diabetes, “Deficient Yin,” could be corrected by eating string beans. How many? How often? Cooked or raw?
In order to make information about these amazing food cures available to North Americans, we have published a new Special Report, Miraculous Traditional Chinese Food Cures. See page 25 to find out how to get your FREE copy.
While none of these food cures have been clinically proven, just 10 years ago there were practically no clinical studies of acupuncture, Qi Gong, or Traditional Chinese Herbs either. It always takes a while for the studies to catch up with reality.
When you subscribe to our new newsletter, Chinese Medicine Healing Miracles, you’ll find out about the newest Traditional Chinese Medicine cures and treatments as reports from around the world highlight the results of new clinical studies. And, you’ll find out where to find healers who can prescribe these cures for you.
